With an original name you can expect original music, with the name Hatred you can expect..... Indeed, decent thrash played by these Germans in American style. With bands like Exodus, Onslaught, Testament, Destruction, Kreator etc. walking around you have to be very special to shine.

You can hear the pleasure they have playing this old school thrash and there are nice melodies in several songs. The vocals are very angry sounding and an occasional grunt in for example "Ratter of Hell" makes it even a bit more aggressive. Fanatic gamers amongst you might know the band from the song "We are the Moshcrew"; this was one of the songs from their latest album 'Madhouse Symphonies' - the song was used for the game Brutal Legend.

Most of the songs on this new album are mid-tempo, quite aggressive and the refrains are easy to sing a-long. Nice moshpit tracks, not too difficult and complex. The production could have been a bit better I think; especially the drums are not what they could have been. If you like Cripper, Tankard and Destruction, you will like this band too I guess, but they are just one of the many decent thrash bands and nothing more.
