I
have really given this album a lot of time and effort, but there is
simply too many songs that never reach the standard they set with their
previous album "The Towers of Avarice", there even a couple of
songs, which in my book is absolute failures... like "Brain Surgery"
and "Losing Control". It’s
really sad to see a band take a step back like Zero Hour does here, only
the 2 instrumentals "Somnecrophobia" and "Intrinsic"
along with the outstanding title track lives up to my expectations. DAMN
IT - I really liked their earlier stuff a lot, but this one simply
doesn't cut it for me... Recommended tracks:
"Somnecrophobia", "A Fragile Mind" &
"Intrinsic". |
