Nightvision
is a young Swedish melodic hard rock band, and this their self titled
album is their debut album. All the members have had some experience
in various bands before Nightvision.
Nightvision
was introduced to MTM Music by H.B. Andersson (vocalist in Fatal
Smile, ex-Token), and they were fast to pick up this up and coming
Swedish Hard Rock act. Like we are used to from MTM Music this is
melodic rock, but Nightvision do have their harder edges, and I
actually think their harder stuff is where their strength lies ... Mostly
influenced by European hard rock acts like Magnum, PC 69, Europe etc.
they deliver 11 strong songs and a short intro - this has to be one
the better MTM releases this year, and I am pretty sure fans of
melodic hard rock will find much pleasure with this album. Nightvision
is a pleasant surprise to me, and I think it's a nice and very
listenable album, with it's heights and lows, vocalist Peter Högsberg
is a almost typical Swedish vocalist for good and bad, he do remind me
of Ray Gillen a lot. But the whole band is skilful and it shows in the
song writing and playing - a good debut album ... do check it out. Recommended tracks: "Fight", "Thin Line Between Love And Hate", "Stand Tall" & "Break The Chain" |
