This
is only an appetizer for the new Helloween album "Keeper of the
Seven Keys - The Legacy", which will be released on October 31.
The album is as some of you might have guessed a successor to the 2
albums that really established Helloween as a premier metal band - the
legendary "Keeper of the Seven Keys, Part I & II" -
released almost 20 years ago. This
CD single has a total of 3 songs, 2 of them will be found on the
album: "Mrs. God" and ""King for A 1000 Years"
and both of them are some the best Helloween tunes I've heard in a
very long time. Admitted
I prefer the earlier material from Helloween, and the only remaining
members from that period are Michael Weikath (guitars) and Markus
Grosskopf (bass). Andi Deris has been around for a long time, and his
vocals will never be as outstanding as Kiske's, but he does a good job
on this single. The 2 newest members Sascha Gerstner (guitars) and
brand new member Dani Loeble (ex-Rawhead Rexx, drums) do a fine job
here as well... With
this single I am pretty sure a lot of old Helloween fans will be
looking forward with anticipation for the follow up to the bands
arguably best albums ... so in the mean time, do take a listen to this
groovy single, because it's very good and worth your time ... |
