“Secondary
Effects”, “Organic Canvas”, “Layers of Lies” and “Contaminated”,
just to name
a few tracks from the latest DARKANE album, “Layers of Lies”, has
rocked my world
since I received this promo. I’m
positive surprised here… I certainly did not expect this album to be
this good! Yes,
I really like it… and I’m sure that I’m not the only one who
thinks this album is FUCKING
GREAT MODERN THRASH! Fast
and furious drumming, fast but very memorable guitar riffs and a singer
with an angry
voice… I couldn’t wish for more! Mainly,
this is presented in a merciless tempo but always with suitable mighty
slow parts, and
the 12 tracks there is to be found here on, “Layers of Lies” will
come over you like a thief
in the night and destroy you without mercy. The more I listen to this
album, the more I like
it! I
could go on and on telling you about this album… the music…. the
production… the cover artwork… but hell no… Who claims to be a
Thrash Metal-freak should at least give this album a listen, and screw what
other people think, you buy music because you like Metal and the band
that's playing it, it’s not really up to someone else whether or not a
CD is good or bad, that's your opinion. I
really like this album a lot… but then again… this is just MY
opinion. This is an album from a band that deserves so much more then
they have ever gotten. …if
