Creozoth Creozoth

Creozoth hails from Stockholm, Sweden and features two Candlemass members Jan Lindh on drums and Lars Johansson on guitars, Michael Storck (Yngwie Malmsteen) on vocals and Torbjörn Moen (Oz, Redfun) on bass completes the band.

I don’t know if Creozoth are a real band or just a side project, but they have been around for a few years now. This 13 track album are very diverse, some tracks are very doomy, others are more US metal oriented its like Metal Church meets Trouble, but they all have that certain Candlemass touch.

I think that the doomy stuff on this album is the best, tracks like “Mind”, “Dash” Or “Forsaken” is essential for every doom freak. The production fits the music really well, it’s all sounding like it was made in the early nineties.
