bought this album by accident… I will spare you the details, but yes…
I bought it by accident, but I’m glad I did, because it’s a
stunning CD, at least in my opinion. Audivision
is the new solo project & album from the Narnia front man
Christian Rivel. AUDIOVISION: “The Calling”, is filled with great
Heavy Metal with strong melodies and lots of harmony vocals.
Absolutely killer guitar work, great vocals and absolutely stellar
song writing. We are treated with 10 great songs of a very high class. “The
Calling” features some of the best musicians in melodic hard rock
and heavy metal right now. Bruce Kulick (Grand Funk Railroad & Ex.
Kiss), Jeff Scott Soto (Talisman & Ex. Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising
Force), Tony Franklin (Whitesnake, Blue Murder, Firm), Mats Levén (Krux, At Vance & Ex. Yngwie
Malmsteen's Rising Force), Mic Michaeli ( Yes,
10 great Melodic Metal songs with a great production are what you get
here on “The Calling". We even get a cover of The Sweet’s
“Love is Like Oxygen” and I like the way they have made this song
“more metal”. This albums kick off with the title-track “The
Calling” with its chugging riff and a chorus that will stick in your
head forever. “The King is Alive” is up next. And again a great
track with a very memorable chorus. Track 3 is “Evil or divine”,
and it could very well be the best track here on “The Calling”.
Great music, great chorus… you can bang your head to it, you can
trip to it, and you can just sit there with your eyes tightly shut and
free wheel along to it. Next
is… - NO, ENOUGH SAID!!! Buy this album and listen for yourself. Recommended
tracks: “The Calling”, “The King is alive”, “Evil or divine”,
