15-20 years ago I was a big WASP fan. Their first album, “The Last Command”,” Inside The Electric Circus” and "The Headless Children” ... WOW ... great albums, but then I lost interest in WASP. Albums like, “The Crimson Idol" and “Still Not Black Enough” were mediocre albums in my opinion. Now, WASP returns with yet another concept offering, this time with the story is based on a young orphaned boy, who discovers, that he has the ability to manipulate the minds of others. However
even after numerous listens I still find both albums a little bit
boring. I want a lot of great riffs - here’s
none. I
want memorable choruses ... sorry, but I can’t find any on these
albums. I
hate the keyboard sound - I’m not the biggest fan of keyboards in
Heavy metal anyway. Maybe
it’s just me, but I really gave these two albums a lot of spins, but
somehow I find them boring. Sorry! WASP
is still well crafted music nothing wrong here,
but I’m disappointed. Maybe
I want another “The Last Command” ? - I really don’t know??? If
you are a hardcore WASP fan ... BUY!!! The
rest: - Listen before you buy! |
