It’s
not exactly every day that you receive a CD by a band from the tiny
state Andorra in the Pyrenees, let alone a CD by a progressive black
metal band. “Truth Inside The Shades” is the band’s debut, and I have to say that this is a solid offering by a band seems very confident in their style. The album opens with a beautiful and sinister piano piece, only to plunge into a fast and furious black metal tune. Well-produced and mixed by Aleix Dorca and the band, all instruments and vocals come to their own right throughout the album’s six songs. Although the tunes
are at times complex, you never loose touch with the band because they
manage to mix the styles of progressive, black, death, thrash and
classical intelligently and with great precision. Nice one, Andorra! Recommended
