Grand Illusions', “View From The Top”, from 2002, was a nice melodic rock album.
So, is their latest effort, “Ordinary Just Won’t Do”, in the same vein?
Yes. This is like “View From The Top”, at very good melodic album, however, they have taken a heavier direction here, and it suits them fine.

Maybe it’s mainly due to the input of new guitarist Ola af Trampe… I can’t say that for sure, but it could be. Arranged and produced by Anders Rydholm, and mixed and mastered by Tommy Hansen, known for his work for Helloween, Pretty Maids and TNT among others, Grand Illusion delivers a first class melodic hard rock album, with first class songs, most of them inviting the listener to sing along.

Everyone into melodic hard rock should do himself or she a favour and check this band out.
