Solefald have with World Metal. Kosmopolis Sud achieved a mesmerizing piece of art. You are reading right.

I refuse to reduce their newest release to words, when Solefald themselves already are doing it so perfectly. This is an album you need to obviously listen to and also appreciate the lyrical part of.

I wasn't expecting that "the opposite" of Norrønasongen. Kosmopolis Nord previously reviewed on these pages could be defined by the sound of World Metal. Kosmopolis Sud, which shows once more that Solefald's capacity of musical abstraction goes beyond what the fan of long date could ever think of.

I'm sure that both fans of In Harmonia Universali, of symphonic metal, black-metal, German industrial music, noise, "art", African instruments, lyrics in different cosmopolitan languages, and what more, will appreciate World Metal. Kosmopolis Sud.
Despite
Solefald modestly stating "I have nothing more to offer than emotional tourism".

This is extreme, audacious music in many ways. Would you lend me an ear on these last words to trust, my friends.
