One of the great joys of reviewing music, no matter if you're just amateurs like us here at the Power Of Metal.dk or professional scribes, is to receive CD's out of the blue from bands who really show potential. This is the case with Epta7, a band consisting of four Italians who happen to live in Dublin, Ireland. I mean, the production of this promo EP really sucks. Technically, it sounds, terrible, yet, there's something about these four songs that captivates. In the blend of the obvious inspirational sources like Coal Chamber, Korn, Sepultura, Soulfly, there's something that sounds different and quite unique. It's hard to explain what exactly it is, but it happens somewhere in the cross field between the groovy guitars, the screaming and growling vocals of singer B.P. and down toned vocal of bassist Miss Grey.

With focus, support and a proper sound engineer, this band could make a difference. Interesting stuff!
