Spit Rusty from Horsens & Aarhus, Denmark is: Martin Arthur - lead vocals. Stefan Gregersen - guitars & backing vox. Philip Brofelde - guitars & backing vox. Morten Keiser-Nielsen - bass and organ. Morten Iversen - drums. I wrote in 2011 about these guys first EP called 'Underwhelmed' and I'm still confused that no big label has found this band enough interesting to sign up for a full length disc.

Spit Rusty plays a funky and energetic rock/metal that is fun to listen to. They flirt with the gothic rock music style and mixes it with modern prog rock, which gives them a special sound that makes them interesting. They use different voice parts and gets a fat and gory sound that swells out and should be attractive to the metal-interested public. Heavy guitars and melodic songs at the same time with a own sound. My thumb is up.

This EP is just over one quarter long, so there will be no rating, but I say again: Definitively something to check out!
