What music do you expect when Niels Vejlyt (Infinity Overture), John West (Royal Hunt, Artension, Artlantica) and Jakob Vand (Infinty Overture) join hands and get to work on some music? Indeed, symphonic metal with progressive parts and neo-classical guitar work. With a few guest musicians like Granck Hermanny (Adagio) on bass and some singers for a choir the pack is completed.

Throughout the album Niels shows that Yngwie is not the only one who can play classical soli on high speed (like for example in "The Dead of Winter") and John West underlines what we already know, he is one of the best vocalists around. The music is a mix of classical metal in Yngwie style combined with a Symphony X kind of progressiveness and the melodic elements of Royal Hunt. You could also say that it is a mix of Infinity Overture, Royal Hunt, Adagio and Artension if you like. They did not invent something new, but did a fine job!

One thing is sure, this album will make fans of neoclassical (power) metal drool.
