Mighty Music releases the debut album from the übertalented melodic metal band 'Saint Rebel' from Denmark. After 6 years with hard work 'The battle of Saint & Sinners' will be out for the fans in March and it contains a great mixture of brutal, angry hard rock with alot of invigorating energy, stone hard guitars and with a dynamic front man in Jonas Kaas on vocals. His vocal performance is a soul awakening experience and he might even be able to force the angels & saints to go onto the battlefield.

The legacy from the veterans in D-A-D is there, but SR has taken the Danish metal a bit further into the future and it's fresh and at the same time raw and nude. The album contains several tracks with potential to be big hits with strong melodies, catchy choruses and they surprise me many times with tempo variations and the super-tight production which makes the whole impression a full experience that you gladly pays the regular price for and not track by track.

I can't say that it's earthquake-like or so, but the power and hardness in the tracks make the rating level rise above the regular one. Fans of Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullets For My Valentine, In Flames will something interesting in Saint Rebel to discover. Anyway the future is shining like a sun if they get right help, contacts and support to show their ability on the rock scenes this summer.

Thumbs up from me.
