On the 5th of October 2010 the rock industry lost one of its most greatest front men. Gotthard's Steve Lee, who got killed in a motor bike accident in the USA which was no fault of his own. Just one of those freak accidents. This put the release of Homegrown - Live In Lugano back a few months. "Lugano was where it all began and so the circle is closed of all that we've experienced with our friend Steve Lee," comments Gotthard bassist Marc Lynn. The remaining bands members have decided to carrying on "Gotthard" without Steve & are currently looking for a vocalist. The hard rock world will be waiting eagerly to see who they get to replace Steve, he will have to be great!!!!

I'm not one for "live albums" but Homegrown - Live In Lugano breaks that rule. In front of 20,000 fans this is a great experience & the band sounds like they are having a blast up on stage. "Homegrown - Live In Lugano" covers all the favorite Gotthard tracks & a few new ones. The main impact on this album, is the sound. The production is nice and clean, crisp and packs a punch. "Homegrown" captures all the greatness of a real hard rock band doing what they do best, it makes you feel like you are right there at the front of the stage enjoying this gig. "Homegrown - Live In Lugano" marks the end of an era for Gotthard.

If you are a fun of "Gotthard" this is a must buy, if you're not buy it anyway!!!!!
