When all lyrics on a an album are written by one Necrosodom, what are the odds that this is about peace,  love and daffodils? Not good, eh, eh?

Not that I understand a word of what is growled and screamed by Necrosodom, but if I'm to trust the titles of songs, we're in Satan Land rather than Santa Land.

And the fury of Lord Lucifer himself is present in the music of the Polish outfit. Relentless, brutal and fast. Death metal played with conviction and a touch of black metal just to speed things up a bit.

I must say that it doesn't hit right home with me. Yes, there is speed, brutality and definitely good musicianship, but on the whole, I lack song writing that really creeps under my skin. The two tunes that have become the reference for me from this album are the two last song Holy Possession and Harvester of Flames. They sum up Azarath's qualities and represent the band very well.

Give them a listen - your skin might be more willing to take it in.
