With several albums under their belts Swedish progressive metal masters Andromeda strikes again!

They have always had a unique sound, which I personally think they perfected on their "Chimera" album in 2006. Since that album they've build on the foundations that album lay out; "The Immunity Zone" (2008) was a very good album and now they test us with "Manifest Tyranny".

The music has always been dark, introvert and innovative and on "Manifest Tyranny" they've broaden the horizon even further; the contrasts are bigger. But it's done with intelligence and skill; resulting in their to date most mature and innovative album. David Fremberg sings better than ever before, and the production and deliverance is top notch.

Andromeda shows once more that they are able to stand out in a very crowded scene and gives us one of the better progressive metal albums of 2011. But their use of spoken parts and heavy keyboard sounds (and I mean really, really deep) has and always will be a matter of taste. I like their take on progressive metal and am sure that fans of theirs will love this album as much as their previous ones...

I just hope this is the album that really puts them on the map!
