The Monolith Deathcult
The White Crematorium 2.0
Style: Death Metal
Release date: February 19th 2010

The Monolith Deathcult re-releases their 2005 album in a complete new outfit. All songs are mixed and mastered again and foreseen with new growls and grunts. The songs sound heavier and more bombastic than on the original. With the new sound the album has the same kind of vibe as their 2008 album 'Triumvirate'.

TMDC have been criticized by many for their controversial lyrics, but these accusations have always been denied by the members of the band, so we give them the benefit of the doubt. Die-hards own the original already and know what TMDC stands for. For readers that don't know what to expect; musically TMDC is a kind of Nile with militant and electronic sounds and howling Slayer guitar solos. Of course I still deprive them with this description because there is much more to it. In the title track there is even some similarities to Type O Negative and it is still a pleasure to hear parts of the Dutch national anthem in "1567 - Under the Blood Campaign".

As a bonus they have added the track "Kindertodestanz" (electro-Rammstein-isch) and there is a Multimedia part with four additional Mp3-songs. Back in 2005 this was a high standard death metal release and with an even more heavy and brutal production it still is. For all the sinners who were not converted to metal back in 2005, a great chance to fill the gap in your collection.
