Sometimes things should be left in the past...This is one of them times. Maybe Stefan's ego was hungry?

"Firecracker" is the early works of Stefan Lindholm (Vindictiv) and you can really heard that Malmsteen was his hero. Basically this is just a softer and less epic version of what Stefan done on "Vindictiv"; classic Melodic Hard Rock, but no where near as good, especially in the vocal department. Tommy Kerevik  is no Goran Edman.

The biggest problem with "Born of Fire" apart from the vocals, is it clocks in around 50 minutes for 8 songs. Too long and not enuogh going on to keep your interest.

One for die hard Vindictiv fans maybe???

PS.. Let's see if I get an abusive email for this review?
