There is only one genre in metal I'm not really into, what are the beauty and the artistic part? Why do people like it? Possibly the same question all my neighbours ask about metal in general. Being a reviewer, you can't always stick to reviewing only the genres you like, but there is a certain responsibility to the readers, the record companies and of course the artists. All the music that is sent deserves to be commented. Fortunately the songs are often very short, one of the genre characteristics.

Exhale plays grindcore and for every grindcore fan this is a good album. Fans that usually listen to Nasum and Brutal Truth on a fine Sunday morning can purchase this one immediately. It is chaotic, fast, and brutal and the usual grunts and screams are there. Not something I would listen to with the family on this beautiful Easter day, but that's exactly their goal. This music is just made for a limited few and for those few Exhale is good enough, expect nothing new though.

For me not easy to give it a rating, it will be too low if you are a fan of this genre and if I'm honest to myself, too high for what I really think about it. Therefore add some points if you are a fan and if you are not in this genre... you will not even read these last words.
