Cryoshell is a Danish three-piece band formed by employees of Lego and their first songs were released to advertise Bionicle ("Creeping in My Soul", "Closer to the Truth" and "Bye Bye Babylon"). The band consists of Christine Lorentzen (Lore) on vocals, Kasper Søderlund (Asp) on guitar and Mikkel Maltha (Kal) on keyboards.

Their approach to things comes from classic rock spiced up with some more modern influences making their sound sound fresh. Vocalist Christine Lorentzen proves that she is more than a figurehead on the ship, and her voice, which is situated somewhere between Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Pernille Rosendahl (The Storm) is quite impressive and a vital part of their sound. Christine's voice helps creating a sound that contain moods that are hard, raw, yet fragile and classical - four concepts that contain one formula, called Cryoshell.

Producer Jacob Hansen has given them a balanced and raw rock sound that fit their style very well, and their self-titled debut album has many fine moments and enough catchy tunes to give them a solid foundation for bigger things. And with the right amount of hard work, promotion and luck they do stand a chance with this album...
