Release date: February 26th 2010

Brian Howe is famous for his work with melodic rockers Bad Company and rocker Ted Nugent and he are about to launch his second solo album. It’s called ‘Circus Bar’ and should please all the AOR freaks out there... I think.

I must admit that I’m left disappointed. Most of the songs are too soft for my taste and I don’t think that this album will appeal to any hard rockers out there. But, well... I could be wrong.

‘Circus Bar’ is well-written, well-played and well-produced and everything but the very first time I was listening to this album I actually thought it was Bryan Adams playing and singing. I can’t exactly say I’m a huge Bryan Adams fan LOL.

But there are a few great tunes to be found on ‘Circus bar’; the album opener “I’m Back”  and the following 3 songs are AOR heaven... and then we have my favourite track “If You Want Trouble”, a hard rocking song that could have been written by Sammy Hagar. But that’s about it for me.

Fans of AOR or melodic rock music in general should maybe check this album out now.
