This album has been out for a while and we at powerofmetal.dk didn't get the change to review it earlier, so it's a bit like cream after the cake. But the album is good enough to be checked out. This band from South Wales has a very mature sound, I wouldn't have guessed that this is only their second album. The production by David Prater (who did ' DT - Images and Words' among many) must be partly responsible for that too.

Their style is a kind of modern grunge. Sometimes they sound a bit like Soundgarden and there are also links with bands such as Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead. Groovy riffs go hand in hand with bluesy parts and 70's rock. Andy Hunt has an excellent voice and pushes the songs to a higher level. The biggest effort however for the band is that they don't sound old-fashioned, their roots can be found in styles from the 70's till the 90's, but they definitely don't sound obsolete.

A good album; if you are interested in how they sound, just visit their MySpace and I think you won't be disappointed.
