Khaoz started at the end of 2008 when members/ex members from Sinister/Pleurisy/The Embodiment/Houwitser and Dead Head joined forces to create this Old School Death Metal band. At the beginning of this year they recorded this EP and they gave it the nice name 'Twist the Knife a Little Deeper'.
What's special about Khaoz, but not unique, are the double vocals. Chaotic sick screams by Johan followed by more deep grunting ones out of Olavs throat. This gives the songs just that little more than the average in this genre. Musically it is indeed a kind of mix of the bands the guys played in before. Fast thrashy rhythms combined with slower brutal parts is on the menu. This is all served with an excellent hammer production by Harris Johns.
Nothing new, but very pleasant to listen to.
