It is with great pleasure that we
see the return of Johnny Lima. Johnny has been keeping himself busy the last
few years with family and working as a producer for some big names in the rock
scene Dirty Penny, Miss Crazy & the brilliant new supergroup Freakshow (A
group featuring Frankie Banali from Quiet Riot and Jeff Labar from Cinderella).
Now the time has come for Johnny to let loose the great "Livin' Out
Loud" on the unexpecting public. To put it simple, this is bad ass Hard/Glam
Rock played the way it was in the day but with today’s production. If you like
bands like Slaughter, Motley Crue, Tesla, Def Leppard & even Bon Jovi this is a must for
you. Johnny sounds a little like Jon Bon Jovi in some of the songs, but not as
much as he used to. Johnny has a more rougher edge to his vocals on "Livin
Out Loud"
"Livin Out Loud is packed full
of great hooks & melodies that will remain with you for days. I can't pick
out any one good song because they all fucking rock your ass off. Johnny Lima
is not doing anything new on "Livn' Out Loud" but he knows what it takes
to make a great sounding album. So grab the car keys, put "Livin Out
Loud" in the cd player and just cruise!!
Bottom Line: A great hard rock album
full of great hooks and melodies. Highly Recommended.
