Forgery is a four-piece band from Norway. They play Bay Area influenced thrash with more modern influences. After listening to the complete album there is one name still coming back in my head and that is Machine Head.

The aggressive vocals, the groove, the drums, the melody and the power of the several songs have the same kind of impact as for example 'Burn My Eyes'. Of course the album is not quite that good, but that is because they are followers, not innovators. But there is nothing wrong with that! I like the complete album; it has everything a nice thrash album should have. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a complete Machine Head copy; in general there is more tempo and more modern influences too.

If you like 'Burn My Eyes' and are into a more modern version, this is an excellent album for you. Thrash fans in general can buy it too, you won't be disappointed!
