Style: Melodic Death metalcore
Release date: June 24th 2009

This band is hailing from Italy and is releasing their debut world-wide after already being released in Japan. Destrage plays very aggressive melodic deathmetalcore. All the ingredients are there. The aggressive screaming hardcore-like vocals sometimes combined with grunts. In some songs we get clean singing as well.

The music is very tight and with an even tighter production the album sounds like a Swiss clock. At first the variety in the songs can give you the idea that it is a strange combination of styles and sometimes are a bit loose sand. But after several spins, you discover the glue and conclude that the album is more than that. A song like "Digital Abuse" has a nice grooving riff and is in my opinion one of the better tracks on the album. It is an album that takes more time to discover it's beauty and significance.

Fans of In Flames, Soilwork, Darkane, Slipnot and modern metalcore should take a listen and I think they will enjoy these Italian guys. Will they succeed in gaining more fans; time will tell.
