This female fronted 5-piece hails from New York. The members are: Mistress Tina - vocals, Lord Metadox - lead guitars, Ron Porcelli - bass, Dan Rhodus - drums and  Nick Gati on keyboards. Tina does a good job, but in the very high notes she isn't always on the right track. In the song "A Soul in Exile" she reminds me of Sharon den Adel,  but just not that good yet.

Musically we get a combination of rather fast songs with serene parts, a kind of mix of Within Temptation, Dark Moor and Nightwish, but not that bombastic. With a higher budget the sound could have been a bit better and heavier, but all in all the song writing is o.k. In "Iago" we can listen to the often used formula female falsetto/male grunting combination, it gives the song some heaviness, and the music a darker vibe.

Nice EP and certainly worth listening to.
