Behemoth
At the Arena Ov Aion - Live Apostasy
Rating
Style: Extreme Metal
Release date: October 22nd 2008

This long concert, Behemoth's first live album, sounds as if recorded in a huge arena, as the title reads; such a fury and a huge sound this recording has. Who could have thought this, the show being recorded in tiny Club Locomotive in Paris! This rec definitely has the best live sound I've heard.

At the Arena ov Aion is a collection of all of the band's best anthems. All the elements of Behemoth's shock shows are included: the skills, the energy, the modernity of the music and the bloody intensity that confer them as one band one should see live at least once.
The thing for me who have seen them several times: I know what is coming, what is going to be said...but I really wouldn't have imagined that sound that renews the whole show! Bow to the sound engineer!
