This album really rubs me the wrong way!

This should be just down my lane; female fronted progressive metal with ambient and electronic influences, but the production kills the fun, the power seems to be misplaced and Lydie Robin has a rather forgettable voice.

Everything drowns in the weak and unbalanced production, and what should have been a fine display of great musicianship, technical skills and powerful songs ends up being anything but. This is not modern, crisp and powerful sounding as the info-sheet states, not at all.

Most positive note is reached in semi-ballad 'Why / This Woman's Life' where Lydia pays homage to Kate Bush, but the middle-part firmly explodes and spoils the fun once more. Sad, but true...

Not the musical joyride on the sound waves I had hoped for!
