U.D.O. the voice of ACCEPT celebrates his 20th anniversary as a solo-artist with the release of a 2-CD and a DVD recorded live in Tuttlingen, Germany. I haven’t got my fingers on the DVD yet so let’s concentrate on the CD, shall we?

Ahem... ‘Mastercutor Alive’ is kicking off with “Mastercutor” a song from his latest studio album ‘Mastercutor’ (2007) and the heavy metal party have begun. U.D.O. and his band mates take us on a journey through U.D.O.-songs such as; “They Want War”, “The Wrong Side of Midnight”, “Thunderball” and “Animal House” among others. But we are also treated with classic ACCEPT tracks like; “Midnight Mover”, “Breaker”, “Metal Heart” and of course “Fast as a Shark” and “I’m a Rebel” and spiced with a guitar solo and a drum solo, this is must buy for every fan of U.D.O. (and ACCEPT).

Well... it all comes down to a matter of taste, but as a huge fan of Udo Dirkschneider’s music, I must admit that he can do nothing wrong in my opinion. ‘Mastercutor’ will stay in my CD-player for days to come, that’s for sure... because it rocks boys and girls. So get it while it’s hot.
