It is no real surprise to find out that Tragedian hails from Hamburg, because they have surely heard one or two albums by Gamma Ray and Helloween. If you add some traditional 80's melodic metal (House of Lords), some progressive sounds as well as some symphonic sounds (Rhapsody of Fire), you might have a pretty good idea of where they are located music wise.

'Dreamscape' is their first full-length, and it's a respectable album. Solid song writing, a decent production and some really great guitar work by main-man and brain behind the band: Gabriele Palermo.

To spice things up a bit there are a few guests appearing on the album: Alessandro Lotta (ex-Rhapsody of Fire), Markus Teske (Red Circuit) and Malte Rathke (J.R. Blackmore Group), and the production was done by Uwe Lulis (Rebellion), so the cornerstones are in place.

But this is not more than a good and approved beginning from a talented band with a bright future ahead of them. Check it out if you are into the bands mentioned above.
