Well... what do we have here? TITAN STEELE from Germany and their debut album ‘The Force’. We get 9 songs of pure heavy metal/US-metal/epic metal with a... sadly poor and powerless production.

After the intro we get a quite good song called, “Devil Take Me”, a song that reminds me of GRIFFIN (not the Norwegian thrash band) so they caught my interest at once. The next track, “Nightgazer”, is however a disappointment and the poor production doesn’t help this track in any way. But they are back on track with, “Soulmates”, a track that leads my mind towards FALCONER. Great track. Very melodic.

Well... after maybe 12 spins in my player I’m positive about ‘The Force’. Because they provide us with excellent and melodic riffs. Catchy choruses and so on... but the powerless production is a catastrophe. It sounds more like a demo than a final product.

TITAN STEELE has the potential to make it out there, but they should certainly release their next album with a way better production. If not... then I couldn’t care less.

Check ‘em out and be your own judge.
