Supersuckers will never be my favourite band. Not because they suck, (they won't be super either). The reason is that I don't like this genre. The band teamed up with Mr. Billy Joe Bowers (also known from the new AC/DC album); to get the sound they want. The band from Arizona is a pure bluesy rock'n roll band.

The songs are easy on the ear and stick in your mind. Most of the songs have no more than 3 chords, a bit like Status Quo. The band is known for its live reputation and I can understand that. Listening to it on a stereo gets boring quickly, but with a beer in one hand and a second in the other you will have a perfect night. This band can party the roof off every club.

For me this is a band that can't impress me on CD, but can kick ass on stage, therefore I have only given the CD an average rating. Some of you might think this is much too low, so just listen to them on Myspace and be your own to judge.
