Squealer surprises with this good record. After the death of Andy Allendörfer (RIP) the band played out their anger and frustration on the record "Confrontation Street". Even though Gus Chambers did the vocals, the record was not a very big success. The new one however is a record you can't ignore.

With new singer Norbert Vorman they hit bull’s eye. The man has a good aggressive as well as a good singing voice. "The Sources of Ignition" starts aggressive and thrashy. Next song "Mask of Betrayer" has a very nice galloping thrashy riff and that makes it a neat song. "Grey" is a rather slow and heavy song where you can get your breath back. Sometimes it sounds a bit like a slow Nevermore song.

In "Godlike" I hear some Iced Earth influences especially in the vocal parts. The song-title "Thrasher" speaks for itself and needs no further explanation. "Martyrs of the Half" has a nice flow to it and is mid-tempo. "I Came for you" is one of the heaviest songs with guitar-riffs and a tempo reminding me of Annihilator. Of course a CD cannot go without a semi-ballad; "Once Fallen", here you can hear that Norbert is a good singer. With ""The Circle Shuts" the CD ends as heavy as it started.

I would recommend fans of bands like: Annihilator, Iced Earth, Nevermore, Brainstorm and power/thrash-fans in general to listen to this album and conclude that this is a must buy! The first edition includes 4 bonus tracks, so don't hesitate too long.
