The U.S. band Skelator, don't mix them up with German Skeletor, found the time to put their 2 EP's; 'Swords' and 'Gore of War' together with 2 bonus songs on this re-mixed and re-mastered record. Singer Jason Conde-Houston's DNA has to be a cocktail of John Cyriss, Bobby Blitz, John Patrick Mc Donald jr. (Midnight) and James Rivera. He combines the high screams of John C., the rolling rrrrr's of Bobby and the ultra high singing of John P. with the power of James.

First song "Death to the False" is a crossover between Overkill and Agent Steel. "The Coming of Chaos" is a song in Maiden-style. The storyteller-parts between some of the songs give the album a Manowar-vibe. "Heavy Metal Sacrifice" sounds like early Venomand "The Dark Tower" is Manowar-style 'Battle Hymn' days.

For (b)old metal fans who still bang their tattooed spiked fists in the air shouting: "Death to False Metal" and use posters of Agent Steel, Overkill, Manowar, Helstar and early Iron Maiden as wall-paper (add at least 10 points to the rating). The high screaming vocals are sometimes a little false, the fans have to take that for granted. And the production does sound a little old-fashioned, as if it is still the eighties.
