'Angel in Disguise' - the second album from Shannon from France is situated somewhere in the grey zone between European melodic hard rock and West Coast US hard rock, not that remote from genre titans like Dokken and Gotthard.

Shannon has carried the spirit of the 80's into this millennium with ease, delivering a strong album with all the virtues that makes this genre interesting. Good musicianship, strong song writing with catchy hook lines and great leads are essential ingredients, and Shannon has it all. Sure the lyrics are as cheesy as the genre dictates, but who cares, when the music rocks!

It's only Rock 'n' Roll, but I like it!
