With such a name one can guess what kind of music they play. When they also hail from Italy, there is no doubt about it what kind of music we can expect. The most remarkable part of it is that you can download it for FREE from their own homepage. Now I hear you thinking: "if it's free it can't be of good quality". Most of the time that is true, but this is the so called exception to the rule.

First the band tried to get an honest deal with a record label, but in vain. So after 3 years they decided that the best thing they could do was to publish the CD online for FREE. As a matter of fact, the recording of the follow-up album called 'Betrayer' has already been started. At the moment the band is still looking for a new singer and bass player. Federico Puleri, who sings on this album and Simone Vermigli are no longer in the band.

The record opens with one of their heaviest and crunchiest songs. The vocals of Federico are real power metal vocals, sometimes high, but at times he sounds a little more aggressive too. In the song "Vengeance" for example I hear some Eric Adams vibrato's. The crunchy guitars make the first song in my opinion one of the better ones. The music sounds a lot like Gamma Ray and also the Helloween and Stratovarius influences are there. All the songs have nice arrangements and have good melodies, but the band has not yet a face of their own. But what power metal band has?

There is nothing wrong with these Italians and in times of economic crisis and illegal downloading every honest power metal fan should at least listen to this band and come to the conclusion that this is quality for free.
