Serenity
Fallen Sanctuary
Rating
Style: Melodic Symphonic Metal
Release date: September 1st 2008

This is by far the best Serenity album so far, mainly because they for the first time have managed to maintain a high level of quality throughout the entire album. Secondly this album is a big step forward in the song writing department and this is their most mature and complete album to date.

Musically they have written a very well balanced album, taking the best from progressive metal, symphonic metal and melodic power metal, resulting in ten very well composed songs, delivered by a very tight and well playing unit.

Serenity will, with this album, be breathing down the neck of some the big names in the genre, and with good reason, because this is a very strong album that surely will be a stir in the power metal community.
