The Canadian institution Rush is as strong as ever, and
their new live album proves that beyond anything. No matter if they dip into the
pool of old classics or some of their new material they do it with so much
conviction and ease that one has to bow down in sheer appreciation.
They are still very tight, all of the songs are done perfectly
and they do still have a lot of fun performing them live on stage, and 'Snakes &
Arrows Live' gives us the fans an opportunity to listen to what we might have
missed on their latest tour, caught on two evenings in Rotterdam, Holland.
'Snakes & Arrows Live' is off course an album only fully
appreciated by life-long fans and prog heads around the globe, but it does still
put a big smile on my face and let me drift into the wonderful musical universe
of this brilliant trio, and enjoy their sonically excursions...
