Expectations always seem to run very high when two genre veterans join forces. This collaboration Ramos - Hugo sees Josh Ramos, former guitar player of The Storm and Two Fires, and current Hardline shredder join forces with Hugo, a well know solo-artist and former vocalist of Open Skyz and Valentine.

The list of celebrities doesn’t end here; Fabrizio Grossi plays bass on the albums, and he has produced the album as well. Eric Ragno (Ex-Takara, Chine Blue) takes care of the keyboards and on the drums we have John Macaluso (Riot, Malmsteen, Starbreaker, Ark etc.) and the album was mixed in Germany by Dennis Ward.

The result is first class melodic rock with outstanding melody lines and vocals, excellent guitar leads, catchy choruses, a great production and just about everything a melodic rock fan could wish for in an album.

But it does become a bit too safe and cheesy to keep my attention throughout the entire album, which is a fine piece of craftsmanship from a bunch of veterans, who knows how to write and play melodic rock. A must for melodic rock fans of all ages.
