What began in 2004 as a tribute band playing songs of their idols like Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake etc. has turned into a full-blown and a very serious hard rock unit and ArtistWorXX has wisely enough picked them up.
Planethard do clearly wear their influences on the outside, and they are a tight, well oiled engine with ability to write catchy hooks and choruses, delivering a very fine debut album not that remote from some of their idols. Another band that comes to mind when I listen to this album is Firehouse; Planethard has the same flair for writing memorable melodies and big, cheesy choruses without ever overdoing it.
'Crashed on Planet Hard' is a fine debut album from these four Italians, one which should please anyone, who loves classic hard rock.
Nice one!
