Well... lately Denmark has provided the hungry Metal fans with great bands such as; HATESPHERE, RAUNCHY and VOLBEAT. But what do we get if we mix the 3 above mentioned bands? Yes... the Danish band PILGRIMZ!

‘Boar Riders’ is PILGRIMZ first full length release and with their aggressive yet “catchy” mix of Thrash Metal, Hardcore and Rock ‘n’ Roll, they are about to surprise a few people (or more I’m sure) in the music business in a very positive way.

From the opening few seconds of the first track “Jimmy’s Castle” I knew this was going to be a great album. Throughout ‘Boar Riders there are great riffs, aggressive vocals pounding drums...and solid bass lines that you won’t be able to get out of your head for a long time.

This album ROCKS!!! These guys are clearly incredibly talented because they fucking know how to write catchy riffs... yet not wimpy riffs in any way... riffs that you easily learn how to play on your “air-guitar”. Track after track beats the crap out of you and I must admit that I’ve found  myself jumping up and down in my living room in pure excitement a couple of times when this album rotates in my hard-tried CD-player.

This really does have the capacity to become a modern classic, and with the right promotion and support we could truly have another band that could rival the more established bands on the Danish and international scene. The ones who don't pay attention to this awesome album do have bad luck!

‘Boar Riders’ is produced, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Hatesphere) and Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All) and they have done a great job.
