Those who have shown themselves sceptical to a Panzerchrist album without Reno Killerich, also known as the fastest drummer alive, can still rest, as Himmelfartskommando is a compilation of the band's two first full-length releases, "Six Seconds Kill" (1-8) and "Outpost Fort Europa" (9-18), which both got sold-out a decade ago, and are now fortunately remastered and to be available imminently. The album also includes three previously unreleased bonus tracks (19-21).

This is a bombastic introduction to new adepts. I really get a kick of those harsh riffs sustained by distorted melodies in the well-known end-of-century, Scandinavian death-metal sound and style. Unfortunately the sound is kind of low, but in another sense quite unique. There's a discrete panzer melancholy over the whole, and I have no problem relating to the concept of Panzerchrist.
Don't you miss this Himmelfartskommando print again before you have lifted your arse from wherever it may be resting!
