Style: Old school Swedish Death Metal
Release date: November 10th 2008

Swedish old school death metal act Paganizer was formed in 1998 by Rogga Johansson. Rogga is a busy man; he also participates in Demiurg, Ribspreader, The Eleventh Hour and he was the vocalist on the last Edge of Sanity album. On this sixth full length from Paganizer delivers twelve raging, crunchy riffs and grooving Swedish death metal songs.

Fans of early Entombed, Unleashed, Grave, Carnage, Dismember and Edge of Sanity might have found their Christmas gift. Sometimes they play a little slow and doomy like they do in "Sweet Decay", where some Celtic Frost kind of riffs come along. However, most of the songs are up-tempo and even some blast-beats appear. Although the style they play is not original, the songs are very good and why invent the wheel once more?

What does a real die-hard want more, even the titles are of old, "Mummified Alive", "Just Here Rotting", "Grinded and Exiled", "The Cadaverous", aaaaaarghhhh. Fans of this genre know enough. Try to get the first edition, it will include 5 bonus-tracks and they sound even more old school than the rest.
