Obscure is the new band of once Enslaved guitarist Roy Kronheim (1997-2002). Based in Bergen and drifted by the influences of Black Sabbath's heavy riffs and powerful twin guitars and feeling of Thin Lizzy, the quatuor plays doomy heavy metal, and is said to form one of the most promising and exciting bands in the genre these days.

I agree about the fact that they use their influences well, creating a fitting groove and showing progressive ability; the vocals are no stranger to the genre but don't make it to the top yet.
This is basical, great heavy metal music, in which I miss more variation and catchy parts.

The design, on its side, is awesome, and the whole concept seems and sounds thought through.
They'll have to come with something fresher for me to follow next time, but this record might still be played a bunch of times and settle for a while.
