Nightshade
The Beginning of Eradication
Rating
Style: Death/grind Metal
Release date: November 7th 2008

Nightshade from France is a band I have never heard of before. Perhaps a failure on my behalf, but I am sure that there haven't been many articles in the magazines about them. Is the band a total waste of time? No, there are enough fans for the kind of stuff they play.

They are a band in the same genre as Suicide Silence and All Shall Perish, just to name two. The music is very heavy and the growling, often guttural vocals are impressive. After the piano intro the violence breaks loose; the heavy riffs, sometimes fast, sometimes slowing down in combination with the vocals and the fast rhythm make this album food for death and grind fans.

After a few songs I have heard enough because it isn't quite my favourite genre. Real death/grind freaks will dig this album I guess.
