Ten Arrogant Tales
Rating
Style: Dirty Rock 'n' Roll
Release date: January 2008

One thing I'll give these guys, they are honest! As they write in the info-sheet: 'The band that has No label, No booking agents, and absolutely No talent, played more than 300 shows all over Europe; the three lazy motherfuckers with a bad Italian accent".

And that's hitting the nail dead on! They do not have any talent what so ever, they make the Ramones sound like a technical powerhouse, but I am sure their true force is live on stage delivering their high octane, energetic, mean and dirty rock 'n' roll in front of an enthusiastic crowd, because it's surely not on a disc!

Their bad attitude and the straight in your face musical approach to things are simply too simple and they never manage to carry the live energy into the songs in the studio. The do never take themselves too serious, and do really only want to have a lot of fun, get chicks and live the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle.

But in order to get out to a wider audience they need to get their asses back in the practise room and learn how to write killer tunes. It not enough to have the attitude and energy, you need the songs to go with them!

It's not 28 minutes of total waste because they do have the attitude and some useful ideas here and there, and I do like the cover-version of 'These Boots Are Made for Walking'. But overall this simply doesn't cut it in the cut-throat competitive music business...
