Metal Church is true veterans in metal, and one of the first of many awesome bands from rainy Seattle. Not sure if it has something to do with the weather in that area, but they have never released a bad album, all right in all fairness 'Masterpiece' (1999) wasn't their brightest effort.

And they keep building on that trend, delivering a solid piece of metal that picks up where they left us in 2006 with 'A Light in the Dark'. First class musicianship, excellent song writing and a style of their own. The sound and the approach stays the same; which results in another cool Metal Church album, one that never reaches their classic albums, but still possesses enough power to convince even the toughest critic.

The Church of Metal delivers exactly what we could have hoped for; traditional metal for the masses with roots solidly founded in the 80's.
